About the Challenge
We invite teams to submit proposals showcasing innovative solutions that utilize Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud Technology.
Team Eligibility

Each team must include 2–4 students who are currently enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate, graduate certificate, master’s, or Ph.D. program.

Recent graduates who completed their degree in 2024-2025 are also eligible.
- Teams must be able to attend the in-person presentations on November 7, 2025, and DevFest on November 8, 2025 in Windsor, Ontario. (https://wedevfest.com/)
Faculty Advisors
- Each team may work with one faculty advisor, who may represent multiple teams.

Advisors are encouraged, but not required, to attend the event.

Only students are eligible for prizes; advisors are not included in awards.
Requirements
Proposal and Video Demo for Phase 1 (October 5th) Submission Instructions:

Student teams will prepare a proposal at their home institutions, introducing an innovative solution leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cloud Technology.

Each team will prepare and submit a PowerPoint slide deck summarizing their concept. The slide deck must not exceed 10 content slides. Title and divider slides do not count toward this limit.

The structure may vary, but it must address all the following evaluation criteria:

Team introduction and roles

Clear problem description

Envisioned solution
-
Societal impact of the solution.

Rationale for using AI/ML/Cloud Technology

Appropriate application of AI/ML/Cloud technologies.

Business relevance and applications

Teams must also record and submit a presentation video (maximum 15 minutes)
